MY DREAM PET

"A pet is a household animal kept for companionship and a person's enjoyment, as opposed to wild animals or to livestock, laboratory animals, working animals or sport animals, which are kept for economic or productive reasons.

Connotarily, this is what a pet means. For me, a pet is an "alternate" best friend, being present in times when you need a friend the most, this is their most important role, for me.

Everyone is not gifted with a pet, some can't afford to, and some have with them. Instead, they just have dream pets. You know, imaginary pets? Pets you'd never be able to have? Some are wild animals, some are extinct, some are just what our minds can come of.


I have a dream pet of my own, and that is the ever so loving dog. The dog is a man's bestfriend. I am a man and in need of a bestfriend, so dogs are what I need, but that isn't the main reason why I'd love to have a dog. I have lots of friends but why would I still want another? Isn't that too greedy you ask? For me, dogs are where your secrets are safe. They'd never tell anyone about them, except maybe their doggy friends. Another reason why I'd love to have one is because, on what I've stated above, dogs are present at ALL times. They'd never leave you or abandon you. That is why I'd rather be with a loyal dog than a human, who'd be only be present when they want something with you.
